Ron E Bennick: President & CEO

Ron is a founding partner and President of Get Mental Help (GMH) and psychTracker. Ron has spent many years in the Information Technology realm, and is still involved in different capacities with a variety of companies, including consulting with a few large organizations. Many of Ron's customers and situations in the past have been with healthcare organizations, and the advent and fast growth of psychTracker required Ron to step in and manage financial matters and assist in company development. With his extensive background in business and technology, Ron is a steadying force within psychTracker and reviews the many innovations that are constantly forthcoming from his colleagues.

Ron is also the President of Carron Consulting Company, an affiliated company owned and operated by him for 14 years.

Sean Bennick: Vice President & COO

Sean Bennick is a founding partner and Vice President of Get Mental Help and psychTracker. Sean is also the webmaster of Mental Health Matters. Sean has an extensive background in Graphic Design and Web Development. In 1997, he was diagnosed with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of childhood trauma. Mental Health Matters and the subsequent developments of Get Mental Help grew out of Sean's desire to understand his diagnosis and share his understanding with others. Mental Health Matters quickly grew into one of the largest mental health informational websites.

Clinical Team

Derek Wood, RN, BC, MS: Vice President of Clinical Relations

Derek Wood is a founding partner and Vice President of Get Mental Help and psychTracker. Derek is a Nationally Board Certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse, and holds a Master's degree in Psychology. His experience in the online arena of mental health can be traced back to 1997, when he was a host for Online Psych on AOL. He joined Get Mental Help, Inc. as Clinical Content Director for Mental Health Matters. Derek, with his wife Lisa, developed the original of psychTracker (then called A Mood Journal), after his diagnosis with Schizo-Affective Bipolar, when they could not find a system available that was robust enough to help him effectively manage his symptoms and accurately interpret his charting.

Derek has worked in the field of mental health since 2001, as a Unit Manager of an adult long-term treatment facility, a charge nurse in an adolescent short-term inpatient facility and long-term residential facility, and as a School Psychologist. He has also written several articles which are being used as CEU for nurses and educators.
